The Elves' final gift

The time has come for the girls' elves to go home to the North Pole. The girls were very sad to have them leave. I have a cousin whose little girl loved her elf so much that they decided to let her stay all year long, but her "spirit" just leaves on Christmas Eve so she doesn't do anything until next year. I thought about allowing the girls' elves to stay also, but decided that would lessen the magic of them arriving. My girls are already on a countdown to when they can see their elf again. One of them emailed her elf this morning. So they are gone until Thanksgiving 2009.

Before they left, they left the girls one big final gift. As you can see from the pictures, the elves "wrapped" up my living room! They wrapped shut both entrances to the living room as you can see by the pictures.

They also left the girls a very sweet letter addressed and written specifically to them with a six month Club Penguin card inside. They also left the girls the adorable "I heart my puffle" shirts seen below. If you don't know, Puffle's are penguin's pets on Club Penguin.

I hope the elves enjoyed their visit with us. We sure enjoyed having them. They helped two adults and one teenager remember how much fun it is to be a kid and enjoy the magic of Christmas!
