Santa made an early visit to our house this year. Thanksgiving morning the girls woke up to find elves had joined them in their beds. These aren't just any elves, these are Santa's elves. They wanted to come and visit for a while. They will hitch a ride back to the North Pole with Santa on Christmas Eve.
The thing about elves is, they sometimes get into mischief. We woke up on Black Friday to find our living room beautifully decorated with paper snowflakes!
What a surprise that was. The girls LOVED it. That whole weekend they had a hard time sleeping because they wanted to get up and see what the elves had done. We had to make them not feed the elves during the week so the elves wouldn't come to life and the girls could sleep for school.
This is when it is FUN being a parent.
