She's my husband's from a previous marriage and unfortunately her mother took it upon herself to break it to my dear sweet Jessie that Santa wasn't real. Jessie resented that and asked me point blank last night if I believed Santa was real. I told her, "Absolutely! I believe in Santa!" :)<BR/><BR/>My husband thinks it's wrong to encourage her, he's afraid she'll get picked on at school. She's had problems with bullies so I understand the concern, but no one ever had to tell me about Santa when I was growing up ... you get to a certain age and you know, but I never outgrew the magic. One Christmas I remember falling asleep after telling my dad that I knew Santa wasn't real. When I woke up to presents under the tree, I believed all over again. It was so hard letting go. This was when I was still in the single digit years. I'll never forget that morning though.
